SOCIO-CULTURAL CONTEXT
On the social and economic aspect, Fanamby collaborates with the State on the implementation of social projects aimed at improving the standard of living in households, in particular on health care accessible to isolated communities and the development of conservation programs led by communities. These remain a challenge to implement with technical and financial partners. For the moment Fanamby is hiring a doctor from Ampisikinana (Head of the Rural Commune) to provide care on the island with the implementation of the anti-covid-19 system as well as the multiple diseases linked to STDs.
